I actually got curious what the Meta numbers were and iirc (didn't write it down) counting only games with atleast enough reviews to get a Metascore.

360- 34

PS3 - 29

Wii - 11

which isn't massively far off from the VGC number excluding the time when we didn't have many if any 360 reviewers like I mentioned before.

You predate me by all of 5 reviews, only one of which was over 90 (and don't get me started on that one!) ^_-


Whatever you say Youngster.  God if only I could go back to those naive days of my youth.  All wide eyed and bushy tailed, every day is a new wonder of possibilities. 

Well alright, if I don't predate you then it's because you don't focus enough on 360, yer more multiplat than I am.   To further illustrate that we've just reviewed more PS3 games in general because of who we get to volunteer our archives show that we've reviewed 81 X360 games, 112 Wii games, and 130 PS3 games.  Which is probably the main reason our number of 90's titles don't map that well with Meta's for 360 games, we're just missing some of those reviews.

atleast my overly high score was supported by meta: http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/grid

Sure the difference between Valkyria's meta and my review is greater than the difference between GRID's meta and review but my point still stands: you suck!

Pretty sure the list in the OP includes multiplats. The obvious explanation is that you give mediocre games like MGS4 high scores, whereas I do not ;)

Whereas you give brilliant games lower scores than MGS4.

You mean you've been at VG Chartz for over 3 years and your only figuring this out now?

Either way from what I've seen from the 3DS I don't expect much out of it, and Sony being Sony I expect the PSP2 to be something phenomenal, we already know a wee bit about the PSP2 and it's looking great, the biggest factor now is price, if they get that right Sony's got the handheld market in the bag.
