I mainly use godbugs to create lifecrystals, which I then turn into lifepowder, or nutrients, which I can then turn into mega nutrients or max potions. Many people do without, though, and godbugs aren't always needed.

Cool! I haven't yet done my urgent, but I fought Alatreon with another group (someone said he was from VGChartz...Menx was his name (TONY was his screen-name?). I didn't do too well (carted once, and didn't get too many hits in), but I got to see his attack patterns, which helped a lot. My armor was a major stumbling block, so I've crafted the Uragaan+ set with overforged vambraces and greaves, since I still don't have any rubies. It's topped off with Critical Draw and DUL, and there's no negative attributes. That gives 448 defense, and with final boosts from meals and adamant seeds, etc., I can get close to 500. That should help for my urgent. On the upside, I got an Azure Dragongem (as a reward, no less! 1% chance of that!).

I won't be able to help with Deviljho yet, but I can definitely help with Barioth if I can make it. 6 PM CST?

@Soriku: Yeah, I was so surprised at how fast Alatreon went down! Even with minimal help from me (so, basically a 3 person team), he went down in 17 minutes. And there was no sleepbombing involved. Personally, I just bring dash juice or energy drinks if I'm in a rush.

Alatreon ain't so bad. I wouldn't worry

I use the raw meat to make dash juice, tinged meat, poisoned meat, etc. And yes, often it takes us 50 minutes to do a quest because my party is usually only 2 people. Much more challenging that way.

@Menx64: It was extremely helpful! I got to see Alatreon's attack patterns, and they still won. Tell your brother that I'm sorry for not really helping at all! I used lifepowders, and hit Alatreon a few times, but I was mostly too scared :)

@EntilZha: If you need raw meat, I could give you some of mine if I see you tonight. I have close to 100 extra just sitting around, so tell me if you need it.

I really should make more use of the online areas for buying stuff. I have so much money that I have found myself buying more basic items instead of farming/combining for them. It use to be fun gathering and making everything, but now it just slows things down.
