Mario games get very little publicity and very long legs. Just give it time. Some top selling games that come out in the first year of a console's release have modest early numbers, but sell well year around. Galaxy is doing OK so far. We'll see where it ends up.

Having the highest rated game on a rating aggregation site doesn't make a hill of beans in the long run. It's a few people's opinions put together. The only real numbers that count here are sales to consumers. Yes, the higher rating may help THAT title sell a few more copies but in the long run there are so many other variables that go into who wins the console war each generation.



Numbers are like people. Torture them enough and you can get them to say anything you want.

Good point halo 3 is a sh*t pickle, but it is still selling billions. Same with the catz dogz games.

I'll get it eventually. Didn't think Mario 64 was that hot though honestly. I like playing 3-D platformers but they're all way too easy because it's way to easy to navigate... probably because I grew up with the 2-D platformer. It's a lot harder to dodge when you only have 2 dimensions.

not really. You either go up or down(or if its a shooter right to left.) In the 3D world anything is possible.
