Halo 3 and lost planet? Better than SMG?*shudder*

It's all down to perspective SMG is one of my favorate games atm, but I know way more people who like them games over SMG

 Well obviously its personal preference, but Lost planet was...average, and Halo 3 was screwed over by its own hype because everyone expected the second coming and got...halo 2 with bloom effects and theatre mode.

Wait!.. so let me get this straight...

If some girl wants to become a boy all she has to do is NOT buy Super Mario Galaxy?

On topic:

I didnt buy SMG..
I bought Metroid, didnt like it.
I bought Zelda, it was fun but i never got hooked on the story so i didnt finish the game.

after that i stopped buying games other people hyped to be the best.
unless i think its one of the best, then thats a different story.
Raving rabbits and Wii sports was extremely fun though.
not to mention Tales of symphonia ^^

Thats exactly what I thought of halo 3, but I go to uni with hardcore 360 gamers and they consider it to be holy grail of gaming. Mind you if I wasn't a nintendo fanboy I would have thought that SMG was over hyped for how good it was in the end. I think SSBB could suffer the same fate as well

 OK what you said makes little to no sence. Galaxy is in no way over hyped its hunder hyped. Brawl cannot be over hyped have you not seen the updates? Stage builder, wi-fi, assist trophies, tons of modes and characters, lots of cool stages, four controller options ect.

Yeah i've seen the updates, what if all these modes and characters they are offering don't crack up to what they say, I am really excited about sonic but if he is crap to play with it will let me down. what if the wifi randomly matches you up with people better or worse than you everytime? you will be bored after 10 fights.
And with SMG I thought was over hyped, I spent at least a year thinking in the back of my mind "this is going to be the best thing ever", I got it home and played for a couple of hours and thought that it was good, but not as good as mario 64 and ocarina of time like all the magazines had said

Well I expected a Wii game to have a high score, due to its popularity and how well its series sells.

So congrats to Nintendo for once again making a excellent Mario game.

Many Wii games have received low scores, sometimes because they aren't "next gen" enough for the reviewers. So for SMG to do this well (97) is amazing. The expected was probably 94 +/- 1.

No one can figure out Japan. A lot is NOT selling there. And what is selling is either DS or really strange choices. But SMG is getting to the point of being in short supply in some places. It was the only game that I could not find at one of my local Wal-Marts over Thanksgiving, for example.

Also, I cannot quite understand your premise -- are you saying the game is NOT selling because it has GOOD reviews?
