I think it is pretty much 249.99 for the 3DS, and 39.99-49.99 for the games. That is my prediction. (SERIOUSLY AMERICA FIX YOUR CURRENCY!)

I hope that short battery life only appliesto when all of its features are in full swing, and not when its at its lowest settings cause that would suck.

And those same numbers in € for Europe. Still expensive of course, but the 3DS isn't the first handheld to come with those prices, so I guess it's more tolerable now.

I guess that is one of the benefits of the Euro being crappy as well.
