It could come true but it could also fail in a spectacular manner. We have no idea what's in store for Kinect and it's owners in 2011 in terms of software being developed and released and hardware sales.

Personally, I think it is quite likely as an average but there will be weeks where it drops below by a fair margin (mind you, an average of 75k a week comes out to 3.9 million which is very good but not compared to last years holiday amazing sales).

I can see that, and that would be good.  Depending on supply and 2011 software, though, it could be higher or lower on average.

I just have this really, really strange feeling that 2nd generation Kinect games are going to be really neat.  MAYBE enough to get me to buy one.  

Although I think it'll dip below 75k a few times, I doubt that the average of the weeks prior to the holiday season will be less than 75k, or at least 50k at the lowest boundary. Will be interesting what kind of legs Kinect will display, you must remember though, the price is ridiculously high at the present, so there is a chance quite a lot of people are waiting for it to drop in price before purchasing one. Hard to call, you might be right or it'll go seriously wrong for you lol, most of your predictions are laughed at, but recently you've been hitting the bullseye, just don't turn into RBH and start churning out an insane amount of them please.

My Prediction:

America about 65k a week.

Others about 35K a week.

Japan about 3K a week.

Total about 103k a week.

So I expect about 103K(105K) worldwide a week at the average rate but sales could drop below that average.

My Prediction for lowest possible selling Kinect week:

America shouldn't drop below 40K in a single week.

Others shouldn't drop below 20K in a single week.

Japan should drop below 500 Kinects in a single week.

Worldwide Kinect sales should be at least 60K every week in 2011 which means that it may drop below your 75K mark though I think the average will be about 100K or so a week.

ok that seems fair and good. i think with holiday 2011 the average will be more like 180k a week

With the bundles this is likely to happen.

My prediction doesn't include Holiday 2011...This prediction is for January-October.

I feel like kinect is too much of a holiday item for sales to maintain high throughout the year. Similar to the wii now, most people will be getting it as a christmas present for their kids. It will stay above 75k a week during the spring. In the summer sales will die down. In the fall and winter they will shoot back up. I predict 11mil by the end of next year.
