Fair enough. I didn't have a PS3 till Spring 2007 so I can't speak much for 2006. PS3 really did have no games at launch if Lair and Heavenly Sword were supposed to compete with Gears of War and Halo 3.
Your stealth trolling is not pleasing to me, the PS3 does not need saving, period!
BTW I think PS3 needs SAVING from not being need to be SAVED, its no fun anymore....=D
Can't be saved from what? 44 million for a last place console is pretty darn good. Almost more than Xbox and Gamecube combined.

impressive and consistent sales though..as long as the exclusives like uncharted, killzone continue to come..I save my PS3's gaming link. Sales don't save it( hope OP gets it).
I know its a rol thread but, saved from what again? Being third place? It was pretty much assured years ago that PS3 would finish last (even if it ends up with more units sold compared to the X360 due to having a longer life span, which is still iffy). Other than _that_ its fine. The most successful 'failure' ever.
Still, for my money, its the best of the 3 systems. Wii just can't compare for the titles I like, and the X360 ultimately just does not have all the exclusives I require. I'm even willing to wait on the timed exclusives because frankly the ps3 controls are the most comfortable for me.
But this is a rol thread, so PS: It doesn't need saving.
