Didn't expect quite this big a rebound.  An overall wiin and some huge weeks, sure but I really thought the HDs would take two or three weeks for a change.  PS3 was looking strong, had perhaps it's heaviest hitter coming up and BluRay is more mainstream every year.  Kinect seemed to be marketed at the the best demographic and the best regions for holiday sales.  Moving GT5 to Black Friday week killed PS3's best chance and the deals Jacob talks about are turning holiday 2010 into another rout.  No worries, I love an underdog.  Not sure why but despite the 34m lead Wii still feels like the little console that could.  

A bit shy?

I expected a holiday spike in sales, but with the launch of Kinect, I thought the Wii would have ended up in number 2 position.

If you take a look at my ten week countdown predictions, you'll see that I'm horribly, horribly off (on pretty much all consoles, but especially the Wii).

So no, I wasn't expecting Wii to be this huge this holiday season. Although I must say I'm actually happier to see Epic Mickey do so well. ^_^

I know that I have written this a few times but I insist, Statistics Indicate that In U.S. there's a record breaking number of 8-9-10 year old kids alive and kicking, If I'm not mistaken the number is close to 20 million, this goes back to post 9/11 record setting number of pregnancies, now knowing Americas reputation on kids being big gamers,  It's not unusual that this kids are getting their first video game consoles already and Its not unsusal that their parents preference would be Nintendo with their reputation and all.
