Forums - Nintendo - Which game will quench my platforming thirst better(DKCR or Sonic C)

pretty straight forward question.  Most reviewers have given these games relatively equal scores, so to all out there who have played them, which do you recommend the most.  I'm kind of leaning towards DCKR for now.

Definately DKC Returns... its amazing... and very hard... which is a good thing.

“Absolutely, we can do much more with it. I don’t know if we are even close to 50 percent of PlayStation 3’s power at this point,” said Asmussen about God of War 3.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

I have them both. I would say both are great fun, but DKCR is more consistent and is more of a challenge to complete the levels. 100% on both is tough, but some of the levels on DKCR are beasts!

Yes.

I would hazard a guess that Donkey Kong Country Returns is the longer game, though i don't know (it's on my Christmas list)

If reports about DKCR are true, it's about level with Sonic Colors in terms of "oops, you're dead!" moments, though Colors can become a surprisingly precise platformer.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Definetely DKCR. Pretty challenging platformer.

It seems as if DKCR has the upper hand, but what I've seen is that sonic colours simply looks astonishing in terms of creativity and art design.  Sonic games tend to be clunkier and less precise than other platformers (especially nintendo platformers) which is what I'm scared of.

I can only recommend DK, as is the only one I have played.

Above: still the best game of the year.

Sonic is good but DKCR outshines it pretty easily.

DKCR. It is the second best DK game (second only to DKC 2) imo.
