Are some of you guys serious? Sorry, but it sounds a bit like it... :/
Every console will be over one billion!!!!!! There will only be a difference of one unit between each of those consoles!!! Massive sales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
Now the reasonable and serious answer: the only real info we have about next gen is about the 3DS, PSP2 are just rumours, and we don't know anything about upcoming home consoles. Therefore, predicting anything now is pretty... pointless.

It may not decide the winner, but it has a huge impact. I do believe that price may have been to blame for for majority of the ps3's early woes(coupled with a lack of good exclusive games) , but I still think the wii would have sold better than the ps3 by an insane amount as it has. Ps3 has lost contol of the Americas because of the rise of the 360, which can be attributed to Sony's insanely priced console, a years headstart by the 360, and a series of poor choices. I believe if the ps3 launched at $350- $400 it would be in second (getting owned by the wii). Of course this is just a speculation over an event that did not happen making my guesses utterly useless.

Unless Xbox gets more 1st party devs, it will be in last.
As for price being a factor, you must consider the fact the economy tanked right in the second year of this Generation.
