i'm still getting the game despite the "low" scores, looks totally awesome.

What about other reviews?

Most are in the 80s. I don't know why just because of one review, people think the game is bad now =/.

So much emphasis on the camera

Gamespot can rot for this and their Other M "review"

These reviewers are really having banner weeks eh?

People should know that Gamespot isn't the best place to read reviews. Haven't trusted their reviews ever.

I already decided months ago to get Epic Mickey.

The opinion of my most trusted gaming magazine is the only professional opinion that interests me. If this magazine would have given Epic Mickey a score of 60 I'd be worried now, but they gave it a 87 in their latest issue.

@Mr. Khan  it was a bit harsh but to be fair it is a 3d platform and the camera is very important, if you cant see what the hell your doing then yeah that could mess up the game

Which magazine is that?

M! Games (formerly called MANIAC), a small German console/handheld multiformat magazine with 17 years of experience. IMO they are always completely unbiased and treat all systems as well their corresponding DL platforms equally (e.g. they were never biased against the Wii, DS or PSP, even when the systems themselves or the games for them were downplayed or ignored by other media - which happened to Wii/DS before and after launch and to PSP after launch). I don't agree with all their opinions of course, but these guys are so passionate and well informed about video games that I learned to trust them. All their articles are interesting, especially the ones about topics where I don't have a clue about (history and current state of Japanese arcade gaming for example).

Needless to say that M! Games' scores don't appear on Metacritic (I bet they're not the only good, non-English speaking magazine that's missing), while Metacritic lists e.g. IGN scores from 3 different continents and Eurogamer scores from 4 different sub-sites.
