My point exactly - you were 6 when you had it, and 8 when you moved overseas... pointing to that you had it in the mideast... |
Let me elaborate since I'm having a hard time seeing what your problem is.
United States
The TGrafix was my brother's.
Started gaming (myself) on the NES.
Got my my own SNES.
Palestine
SNES breaks down.
Dad sends me a PlayStation
What's confusing you?
Also, I just noticed you're from Israel. We are sworn enemies. Choose your weapon! I choose rock

ooooh, I think I see now. You mean did I take the turbografix with me??? No. I have no idea what my brother did with it.

My grandfather gave me an Atari 2600 when I as just a little child...
I will never forget how *amazing* Enduro was, how*hard* River Raid was, how *charming* Frog was and how *epic* Pitfall was.
At that time the industry was doing games to be fun to play, but today most of the industry just want to release playable/interactive Hollywood movies instead of fun games.

Israel is my nation's ally is it not? That makes you outnumbered, so drop your arms.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Ugh, I thought you moved to the states later on (since you're there now)... though I see now... you keeping your PS1 @ grandpa's was pretty weird...
If you're going with a classic, I'm going with one too... M-16 :P
I was carve out manly by strategy games such as Age of Empires or platofrmer games such as Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario World.

Above: still the best game of the year.

Anyways, about SMB3, how did you play it? Me I preferred to complete world 1, get the P Wing, finish world 2, get the Cloud, then jump to world 8 and use the Cloud on the annoying castle level and the P Wing on the fast flying ship. Always made the game much easier. Like you though my life was also destroyed by the PS1, mainly Square Soft... oh how I miss when Square and Enix were separate companies. Everything was so much better back then. Enix would make fun games with crap stories with great gameplay and Square would make great stories and great gameplay. Now we still get some great gameplay but it is like they gave the stories to the crappy story makers from Enix. |
I fluted my way to the last level.
There was that flute where you ducked on the white platform for like 10 seconds, and then the castle flute where you flew above the wall.
Damn lava levels, the tank and ship levels always gave me a hard time!

I always liked playing Skydivers and Football on the 2600. I actually still own it.
I have that joystick controller as well as that weird one that turns like a controller for an RC car.
