Forums - Nintendo - hmmh.. Should i buy a Wii now?

If you did not like it back then, I doubt you will like it any more today. My advice is that you should invest that money on games on the platforms you already own.

But if you do buy it, don't believe that little king's story is a rpg. Stay clear of that title. :P

Never mind that you had one before or your previous impressions/experiences etc, you have to ask/answer yourself two questions:

1. Are there now multiple games on the system (or soon to be on the system) that you simply must play?

2. Do you have better/more important things to spend your money on?

According to your profile you have Lost Odyssey.  In that case, I would buy a Wii even just for the Last Story

now that you tell, my games collection is soo unfinished.. buts it was so tedious to add games back then.. ^^ But yeah, i have Lost Odyssey, i think it wasnt a revolution, but a lovely, enjoyable game. :>

@temporary:

i wouldnt sell it. Selling my Consoles is a thing i would have considered some years ago, but this point has changed, so, even if i'd declare this buy to be a complete failure, i would keep it. :)

@Xenoblade:
lmao, i didnt notice this game 'til now, but it looks very promising.

@Homebrew:

hmh, that looks interresting. but what exactly can this program do?

(i think i'll wait a bit longer and wait to see how TLS und Xeno are turning out., but Muramasa and Sakura Wars are also games i'd like to play, so there will be like 10 Games in total in a couple of Months that i want to play, so decision to get one is kinda made now. But yep, would be awesome if someone could explain 'Homebrew', since i really wanna know what exactly this is.)

I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

Yes. Help me win my bet with Kowenicki.

Look, It's simple, if you like gaming period, then buy it, eventhough it is weaker in graphics, The wii has a lot of options exclusively to it, Monster Hunter tri is a fantastic game, Tetsunoko vs Capcom, you can buy classics like No more heroes saga, red steel saga, A boy and his blob, Little king's story  all for under $20 plus you got Nintendo's games which is the most reliable company by far when it comes to pure, fun gaming. even if you are an xbox fan or PS3 don't deny yourself of a great system

Damn, how could I forgot Little King's Story...that game is awsome! I've spent 50 hours or something on it already.

I know, If there is ever an award for "I know It's childish, but damn this game is addictive" LKS got it in a heartbeat.lol

Yes!

Above: still the best game of the year.

No. Mostly for aesthetic reasons. Is your entertainment setup red? No? It would stick out like a sore thumb. Just like the white Wii I've got. Especially since all my electronics are black and silver :/

Just look at the reazon below:

- Super Mario Galaxy 2

- New Super Mario Bros Wii

- Mario Kart Wii

- Super Smash Bros Brawl

- Metroid Prime Trilogy

- Metroid Other M

- The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

- Monster Hunter Tri

- Red Steel 2

- Sin & Punishment 2

- Fragile

- Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

- Muramasa: The Demon Blade

- MadWorld

- No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle

- Epic Mickey

- GoldenEye

- Kirby Epic's Yarn

- Donkey Kong Country Returns

- Tales of Symphonia 2

- Tales of Graces

- Xenoblade

- The Last Story

- Dragon Quest X

If the list above is not of your interest, you should never in your entire life pick up a Wii.
