I loved the photography and the costumes, though I hated some characters as Jar Jar (it plays the role of the stupid pig in Valkyria Chronicles: a stupid mascot meant to cause... what?).

I loved McGregor and later I loved him even more and so I did the beautiful Padme Amidala, but for different reasons.

Personally, I sit in the position of believing the later trilogy is better than the original one (which I watched when I was just a kid, and which I think is totally kid oriented, with no real depth). For me, it brought new meaning to the whole story in a very possitive way.

Episode 1 gets a 7/10 from me.

Good film. Good fun to watch. Anakin was slightly annoying, as was Jar Jar at times.

Darth Maul is amazing, and awesome.

 

The music in Episode 1, particularly Duel of the Fates and The Droid Invasion, was fantastic.

Ewan McGreggor as Obi Wan is pure genius.

The battle between the Gungans and the Droids was also done really, really well.

Oh. And Keira Knightley was in it. Awesome!

Wow some surprisingly high scores there.  I'm going to have to bite my lips on this one I think.  Actually, to be honest, for the most part I'm going to have to bite my lips on all the prequels.

I still like Empire Strikies Back A lot more (than any star wars for that matter) But my brother tells me how much Episode 1 sucks and reasons (that make sense) why almost every day :P

Plus you should flame darth... to get revenge for him flaming one of my games! that darth!

The characters were lame, annoying and boring, and I didn't care for them one bit. Story was weak and badly told. I liked the lightsaber battle, but this is my least favorite in the series, along with Episode II.
