This is why I said that there is a list of games competing for best graphics. Some people here strongly beleive PS3 exclusives look better then 360 exclusives, to the point where they write bolded messages telling other people off and posting pictures of 360 games like Gears 2 and then saying not to compare with the Killzone 2 because in picture Gears 2 will look better.

Seriously, the graphical difference between the leading HD games is not much, just look at all the different posts people are making

• Killzone 2 is the only standout, then there are a bunch of equally graphically powerful PS3/360 games
• Uncharted 2 is the best, but Gears 3, Rage, and Killzone 3 will be on par, GoW3, Gears 2, and Killzone 2 are next up
• God of War 3, U2, and KZ2 look the same and look better then Mass Effect and Gears

Basically, everyone is saying Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, GoW3, Gears 2, and ME2 look the same, just to different people, different games stand out. In the end they are all roughly the same.

Now lets just stop with this idiocrasy, no one is proving anything, and PC gaming trumps all. The small differences between KZ2, GoW3, U2, ME2, and Gears 2 are nothing major, and definatly don't factor into peoples considerations when buying a PS3/360. It's the games that matter most.

Only 200 of the cars in GT5 look better, the rest look sub Forza 2 quality in GT5.

Heavy Rain and Mod Nation Racers are still published by Sony, just like Gears is by MS, and I don't care about who publishes what, I only said most 360/PS3 HD games look about the same, which is true. How is Heavy Rain better then Mass Effect 2 graphically? I've beaten both games, I really don't see a difference.

It amazes me that just because someone disagrees with you, you go on and insult them. Why can't someone like you just understand that there are people in the world who view things differently. Everyone has their own opinion, please don't insult others, it just makes your debate weaker.

Think about it this may, My initial comment was about the Forza franchise growing due to numerous reviews which put Forza 3 above GT5, then someone like you came in and made this about a PS3/360 graphical comparission. This tells me that someone like you is lacks confidence, and is trying to tell people that PS3 is better for whatever reason. Your trying to compensate because the world doesn't share your PS3 > 360 view, and thats sad because it ruins threads like this.

So please if it's not related to GT5 or Forza, leave it out of this thread. Your free to make a thread about how PS3 is awesome, but not here, and try not to be so critical of MS. I'm not pessimistic about PS3, your just angry because I have a view about the PS3 which you really don't like, and guess what, this is the world.

I strongly disagree. I believe games will be more important than price. But we'll agree to disagree. I doubt the PS4 will be that expensive anyway considering there probably won't be some new multimedia being used (like Blu Ray). Either way gamers are more important than Price.

seriously batman? WTF...I finished that game a couple of times already and the game aint got shit on god of war 3 graphically, and Masseffect on PC you might be right as my video card isn't high end but good enought to play it on high setting with lower resolution than 1080p.

It's Michael-5 you're talking to guys you're only losing your time... he's trying to make it look like he has a different point of view, which is true, but making it look like it's shared by alot of people is laughable.

Telling me that I'm reacting like this because someone disagrees with me and that I should make a thread about how awesome PS3 is only shows that he's not getting what I say. I'm reacting like this because I have enough of seeing him commenting on everything Sony related with b* arguments. But that may be just me...

I have nothing against the fact that everyone has its own opinion. But the way he's writing his ideas gives me the feel that they are the only truth on earth. And I'm not only talking about Gow3 Batman comparison, but also about UC2 being matched by an X360 game. I love the X360, I don't own one because I don't have the money/time but I'm having alot of fun with a friend of mine on Halo/L4D/COD/Fable.

So I saw them running on HDTV, I saw my PS3 games running on HDTV and there's no way you can compare UC2 to something on X360, same for GOW3. It's only common sense, I dunno maybe my friends (X360 hardcore fans but still admit that PS3 exclusives have better grahics, generally) and me should see a practician or be treated for eye disease. So it's kind of annoying seeing someone posting things like "KZ2 is the only game that stands out on PS3" and make it look like the only possible truth on Earth.

And I'm making these facts appear as the only truth on earth because it is the truth, seriously, UC2/KZ2/GOW3 are still unmatched, and I can't understand how people can still argue about that. Maybe some things are not perfect in these games, but overall they have better graphics... Or you just played one of them. Sometimes I try to understand and see if I'm not mistaken because I may have missed something, but here  for things like that, the only thing you need to do is to open your eyes, and see all these games running on an HDTV... Telling me GT5 is nothing special because Forza has better trees..., I didn't know the game was about analyzing evironment.

A few months back I read something, I think on VGCharts, which was a questionaire given to a substantial PS3 owning audience asking people why they bought their PS3. Price, Blu-Ray functionality, and Games were the 3 strongestest determining factors, all weighing in at about 60%, then it dropped off to smaller factors like free internet, and having browser. I'm not going to go searching for the article, so take it as you feel, but both Price and Games makes a big impact on which console to purchase.

I think for me, they are the 2 sole factors. Games determine the quality of the system, and price determines if the games are that much better, that it's worth getting.

You critisize me for saying that my point of view is followed by a large group of people, then you say things like "it's common sence that..." Since when did this become established? I have a PS3 and a 360, and I have more PS3 owning friends ten X-Box owning friends, and most of them admit the graphical different isn't that different. PS3 and 360 dodifferent things graphically better. Killzone 2 for example looks a lot better then Gears 2, but in a still screenshot, that might not be the case. It's because Gears 2 has higher quality textures, where the Killzone 2 just has more things running on screen at once. These are just the limitations of the consoles.

Your opinion is not the truth. Just because you and your friends think one way, doesn't mean everyone else does. There are numerous reviews, and articles online that put ME2 graphics above U2, and vice versa. Please don't be so condescending, thats just uncalled for.

I never said Forza has better trees, I said it has better environments. The city levels in GT5 look terrible. When I first put in GT5, I was expecting the graphics to blow me away, but in the end, the game was not that different on a graphical level then Forza 3. Interior car detail on GT5 is better, but then Forza has over 500 cars with an in car view, not just 200, so it's give take. Your mocking me for comparing Forza to GT5 in graphics, but this whole debate is about comparing games graphically, I don't understand you.

@Pezus, I know GoW3 looks better then Batman, noticably too, but the difference isn't that crazy, just noticable. I said earlier Killzone 2 is the only PS3 game with graphics that standout, but after that there is a massive tie between graphical quality on both the PS3/360 front. This is what has gotten people rattled up a bit. Is it that hard to accept that some people view games like Mass Effect 2, and Gears of War 2 on the same graphical level as Uncharted 2, God of War 3, and Metal Gear Solid 4? I don't think so...

@4k, Stop being condescending, your opinion is not the the general concensus, no matter how much you want it to be, and neither is mine. I just don't see a difference between games like ME2 and GoW3, and if I had to pick which one looked better ME2 would win (Killzone 2 is still the best this gen). Maybe I just play games for fun, or maybe it's because I've seen a lot higher resolution gaming on PC's before, but I just plain disagree with your opinion that PS3 exclusives look noticably better then 360 exclusives. Don't get all rattled up about it, this isn't bs, this is my honest opinion, and I don't think you have any right to look down on me just because you have a pre-conceived notion that PS3 is more graphically powerful then the 360.
