Imo price will be the biggest factor, the only feature that could justify the initial pricetag of PS3 was the BluRay feature, a BluRay that was, at the time top of the range and could be updated via software updates instead of having to purchase a new player every time a better version came out? That was the selling point. If PS4 comes out with just as, or even more ridiculous a price tag than PS3, then it'll be "domed" from the start. Don't know about you, but I personally expected PS3 to dominate this generation, and it's still to overtake a considerably lower spec console, 4 years into the launch. Unfortunately I can't comment on the quality of PS3 graphics as a friend that has a PS3 refuses to purchase anymore games for it since he got a 360 in June. |
I strongly disagree. I believe games will be more important than price. But we'll agree to disagree. I doubt the PS4 will be that expensive anyway considering there probably won't be some new multimedia being used (like Blu Ray). Either way gamers are more important than Price.
