Well that's never shocking, people will always find something to hate on regarding a product they don't favor. It's the ugliness of human nature.

However, I just thought of something - I'm thinking the release of Kinect could have contributed to the delay and a release closer to Christmas may just be what GT5 needs. By then, Kinect will have been out at least a month and it gives Gran Turismo that time period to shine all on it's own.

I think December should have been it's release month from the beginning, I've always thought that, but figured November would do. Perhaps Sony did see this, albeit late, but the delay would make sense in that regard.


Come on CGI, how does Kinect , a 360 camera, affect the biggest PS3 games sales?  It's delayed because people at Sony can never be on schedule.

Sony can learn from this. They had a steller Q1/Q2 this year, but it seems Q3 and Q4 could see NO core PS3 games release, that's pretty bad ...

They have a killer Q1/Q2 again next year, so might be best if they spread those games out more evenly rather than put them ALL at the start.

It got delayed because SONY realized they forgot to market the game

I think this delay will actually help it. I mean, everybody who really wanted it, waited already 5 years, so another month doesn't matter anymore.

Furthermore, they can finally plan something for advertising.

And Kinect plus COD: Black Obs will be released in November. I always thought releasing it at this time was stupid. Now it releases just before Christmas. The Christmas boost will be huge. Perfect!

Even If most people will disagree with me, I salute to Sony and Polyphony Digital.
