I've got a question. What is the best way to control the fan on one of these cards?
I can manually control the fan through CCC, or I can let it control itself, but I would prefer if I could set an "Ideal" temperature and let the card control itself. Currently, on load it likes to hover somewhere over 40 degrees C(maybe a little higher, not sure). However, the fan never really turns itself up. I'd like to set the card to crank the fan to 11 when it gets up around 50. Is there a 3rd party program to adjust that? I hear that HIS makes a program that will work with the Sapphire cards. Is there a "good" or "smart" way to control cooling?
Also, I've ordered several NICE aftermarket fans including an exhause fan to do a push/pull airflow with my CPU, so my case is now(and soon to become) cooler than my actual room, lol. I think I overdid it with the fans though. I have 3 180mm fans, 1x 160mm fan, 4 140mm fans, plus the PSU, CPU, and GPU fan. Totaling 11 very powerful fans, and also the case is almost completely mesh and again HUGE, so my cooling is now uber, lol. My shark exhaust fan is one of the highest end parts in my case, lol. Only 20 bucks.
I followed the "In through the front, side, and bottom, out through the back and top. The "INs" on the bottom of the case are controversial because they can pick up dust off the floor, but I have two things going for me.
1. I'm on hardwood.
2. My case is on 3.5 inch wheels keeping it well off the ground.
So, I actually have two powerful fans blowing directly into my GPU fan suction reducing temps there.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
