Forums - Gaming - Which great games you couldn't understand?

Halo- It just plays like an average FPS to me. When I played it I thought... hmmm... Timesplitters but slow.

Little Big Planet- I get the appeal but I just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.

Dead Space- I was bored tbh. Nothing stood out.

^^All of these games and MW2.

MW2 cost me 60 euro for 5 hours of single player gameplay and a half decent online.... what a let down.

This is not an exit.

Mario Galaxy (Mario 64 is my 4th favorite game), Chrono Trigger, and most console FPS's (killzone, resistance etc).

Mario games

Zelda games

Any Atlus game with high reviews

Fable

MGS games

Okami

and the newest addition to my collection: Little king's story

Half-life1&2 and portal

There are some other, but those are the worst cases. I just can't see how anyone could like those games. I know a lot of people like them, I just don't understand them at all.

Had to add hl&portal to the list.

BioShock: I started playing it on PS3 and it just seems so claustrophobic and I'm playing on an HDTV. I don't understand how people don't stop playing it or even finished the game.

Modern Warfare: Just seems like another FPS to me.

Kirby is a great game? I just thought of it as a good game. The highest rated Kirby game was Canvas Curse; the rest have gotten like above average scores.

Metal Gear Solid 2/Metal Gear Solid 4.  What the hell happened?  I'm kidding.  They were pretty convoluted, though.  The game that I don't understand is Dragon Age Origins.  The sad part is that it's probably dumbed down for the console crowd.  I just lack patience so, even though I never got stuck, I didn't know what the heck was happening, how to equip my character, or anything.

I could never understand Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu but that was most likely due to it being in Japanese.

"Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth." -My good friend Mark Aurelius

Zelda
Metroid Prime series
LittleBigPlanet
Burnout Paradise *shudder*
God of War I
Shadow of the Colossus
Jade Empire
Total War series
World of Warcraft (and any other MMORPG)

Only really hating Jade Empire, WoW and Burnout Paradise. The rest is decent but far from great.

Aaaaaaand friended

Dragon Age: Origins. I dunno, I started playing it and, like, I just don't get it. I don't think I put enough initial effort into the game to grasp its concepts to grow an appreciation for the game. I need to give it a second shot, but there are too many other games on my plate.

I played many FPS but only managed to finish a very few. I dunno. many of them just don't have that spark that makes me want to play it entirelly
