Keep in mind that PES usually launches 2 weeks or more AFTER FIFA but this year they decided to go head to head.

More Playstation domination in Iberia, this time in Portugal: Sony Portugal expects to sell 75k Playstation Move until the end of the year ( don´t know if it´s fiscal year or December). Portugal has ~ 300K PS3 userbase, which means ~25%!!! of Sony gamers will get Move . Too bad Portugal represents no more than 1% of the global market.

"Ainda não tínhamos o conceito de jogos com movimento", comenta ao i o director de marketing da PlayStation, Gonçalo Fialho, justificando a aposta da marca nipónica. Embora a Sony tenha lançado, há oito anos, uma câmara com sensor para a PlayStation 2 (EyeToy), foi a Nintendo que fez um brilharete no mercado quando lançou a Wii e os seus jogos desportivos, com um controlador sem fios enrolado no pulso. Agora, tanto a PlayStation como a Microsoft querem um pedaço desse bolo, que atraiu para o mercado dos videojogos segmentos inéditos de consumidores - crianças, mulheres e seniores. "Portugal é o país da Europa que mais atrai o segmento de crianças e mulheres", frisa Gonçalo Fialho, revelando que a ideia da Sony Portugal é vender pelo menos 75 mil sistemas PlayStation Move até ao final do ano.( Sony Portugal idea is to sell at least 75k Plastation Move sistems until the end of the year)
