Eva's speech about The Boss's motives at the end of MGS3: Snake Eater made me choke up.

Aeris's death in FFVII affected me too but I think it was more shock than sadness.

i know everyone will  hate me, but that part made me lol, not because of what happened there, but right after it, when Cloud talks about his dry mouth and tingling fingers >_>;

I live for the burn...and the sting of pleasure...
I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...

The MGS3 ending!

In fact the "ending" was the only thing MGS3 did better than MGS4 tehehe

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Okay, okay, I'm calm and collected... *deep breath*

No hard feelings Ninpanda, just don't do it again.

Unless you're gonna talk about Aeris in FF7, you don't have to warn us about that.

I choked up during Uncharted 2 and Valkyria Chronicles, but those are the only two I can remember.

Which part of VC? The, uh

The death, I would assume?

That was what I was going to post, the sickening thud of the bullet really gets me.   For some reason U2 didn't get me though, just VC.

U2 wasn't as powerful for me as VC was, mostly because my mind was racing about how this wasn't happening, and lo and behold!

Seriously I completed both, but I can't even remember what you're talking about

am i the only one who chocked a lil bit on modern warfare 2? the scene with the white house bourning, the red sky and hanz zimmers epic end-time like choir composition in the background made me really think about some things.

Other than that, listening and watching to the FFX intro again after i just completed the game really put a tear into my eye (oh well...) and also listening to the Age of Empires 1 soundtrack after have not played that game for 13 years really made me almost cry since i realised that this game has probably characterized me a lil bit

Terranigma's ending really made me go T_T

The ending of Oblivion's main quest obviously. (I won't spoil it here)

Morrowind's main theme:

Some parts of Dragon Age on your relationship with Morrigan.

Most of Sierra's Conquests of Camelot. Poor King Arthur. The intro has one of the saddest melodies in history:

The death scene in Lost Odyssey.

Spoiler warning!

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

The ending of MGS3 when it was reveladed that The Boss was actually not a villain:

And the second one was at the end of Final Fantasy V, the ultra-epic music of the credits ant the party running on the field...it was like a deserving ending after you did a very hard work and it was your reward. It was problably the most rewarding game I have ever finished.
