Forums - Gaming Discussion - The Wii apparently added the most exclusive games last months

i say the Nintendo people have spent the last 10 years or so getting punched in the face and getting pwned by the Sony people. The recent 5 months is perhaps the first time in almost 10 years that the Nintendo people can gloat and say "scoreboard" on the sales charts.

AND THATS WHY YOU PISS ME OFF! GROW UP AND DON'T GLOAT! AND THE MS IS STILL LEADING!

And they wonder why people hate the PS3 fanboys around here. Seriously, how many fanboys of the other consoles are so anti-social?

Joe, I don't think its a matter of who's a PS3 fanboy and who's a Wii fanboy or whatever. What's happening is that people are investing way too much emotional energy into supporting their system. If their system gets bashed, they take it almost as an attack on them and then respond with personal shots at the other posters. This happens all the time with sports teams and stuff too.

i suppose this helps to define the "hardcore" gamer. The "casual" gamer would never get offended or emotionally invested about his/her videogame systems.

You're probably right, just seems like the most extreme people have been from the Sony camp lately.

I gotta admit, that rant made my night. He was doing so well being right all the time, too...

Gotta love the occasional spontaneously combusting forum-user.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Games are games, people! No need to get angry. Games are for fun ^_^

Whoa, he really let go hah... :) Sort of amusing considering his other thread which ADMITS he has *never* played the Wii (apart from a few minutes playing Zelda). Maybe he will grow up one day...

Some of your comments aren't any better, you guys. -_-

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

Erik Aston : what you say is the theory. In practice, and I experienced this several time in other domains, shills are so clueless, they don't stand long against experienced people (and I'm NOT experienced at all in video games). You know what's scary ? Let me tell you: I refrained from saying anything for a while, trying to wait for a good time to reveal what I think. Now, what's scary, is that usually, when shills are discovered, they go nuts on the discovered accounts, as it then become useless. Sometimes, they launch a parallel attack of pure hate with another account, hoping people forget about their main one. But if all is lost, some burn it in flame. So perhaps it's pure coincidence, but I find "the guy" to behave exactly how I thought he'd behave after I say he was a shill, and that's pretty scary. And I would like to add that this site, by its very nature, is typically the kind of site that is targeted by shills, as it can do lots of PR damage, because the front page is very visible and clear, and especially because of some of the companies cited on the front page, which use methods I know far too well. And shills wouldn't bother me if they didn't make every interesting thread worthless.
