I think SMB 3 and Mario 64 are atop my throne.
SMB is also great fun, but just too simple.

| Freestyler said: Super Mario 64 DS is missing, plus Yoshi's Island is technically SMW2. Also you forgot the terrible 2D Mario games. |
| DarkNight_DS said: 2d! You can't go wrong with Mario 2, 3, World, NSMB and Land 2 |
If you took SMB3 off that list, it would be a tie. SMB3 > everything.
And SMB2 USA is awesome. It's got Birdo, Mouser, shy guys, flying carpets, and you can pick a rocketship out of the ground as if it were a delicious vegetable.

I used to like 2D more because of Super Mario World, but now I like 3D better because of Galaxy. Galaxy is amazing, only 4 more stars until Luigi.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

2D by far.
If a game is called Super Mario World 2, it's a mario game. Baby mario is in it anyway.
A lot of the best parts of Galaxy were really 2-d gameplay.
I like them all, but if I had to choose I would go with 2D. Although I love exploring the worlds in the 3D marios, the 2D ones have always seems a lot more fun for me. So 2D it is.
Currently Playing: Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Super Smash Bros for Wii U
Predictions:
Super Mario Galaxy will pass Super Mario 64 in total sales CORRECT!
2d, SMW was so much fun
3d are probably better but I really can't erase my memories of childhood joy playing SMB, then SMB3(never liked 2), then finally my fav SMW
