Forums - Sales - Assassin's Creed 1 & 2 will pass 5 million on 360.

That's amazing for a new IP isn't it? Where do people think Brotherhood will land in sales? I'm thinking less due to not being AC3 and a multiplayer type game, but should hit 3.5 million.

Really is awesome. One of the biggest new IP's... Ever!

360 has been great for new games releasing this gen.

Gears, Left 4 Dead, LEGO games, Rock Band, Mass Effect... The list just goes on and on and on

ya i think it might be the biggest new ip for the hd consoles this gen. PS3 sales for 2 should hit 5mil as well and 1 should hit 4mil. With bloodline 25mil this gen seems a given for assasins creed. Pretty crazy sales.

They should sell about 10m each. The AC franchise is just brilliant, and ACII was one of the greatest games of the generation. Brotherhood probably won't sell so much, as it has been only 1 year since the last one, but this franchise should continue for a while to come

I'm one of the Biggest Assassin's Creed fans on the planet, and even I'm turned off by the multiplayer.

Brotherhood will sell like crazy though. I don't think the casual market are fully aware of the direction the game is taking.

and I hope Assassin's Creed 3 goes back to the main plot which I deeply love.

the 1 year gap could hurt, but L4D2 didn't suffer, it actually sold more. So hopefully same can be said for AC:B

I get you love the main games for what they are, I do too, but are you still interested in Brotherhood?

Edit - and no I havan't played 1! I only hear bad things and don't want my opinion on the franchise tarnished I loved AC2.

This cant be true, 360 owners only buy shooters.

That is true, but AC II didn't sell as well as AC I... so I am not sure, with MP it could go either way

As for playing AC I... it is inferior in every way to ACII as that was the best improvement in a sequel ever (I think) as it addressed every flaw in the first game, of which there were many. I played it briefly recently, and even the (at the time) amazing free running felt stunted compared to AC II

@ hatmoza, don't be turned off by the inclusion of MP. Ubisoft are throwing every resource they have at this game, so they have a full SP story, which may not be as long as AC II, but that was a long game, so at the very least you are getting a good length game. For me, Rome seems a big enough location, and one that probably does deserve its own game, so I'm REALLY looking forward to it, in spite of my apathy for multiplayer in general
