When Sony's marketing campaign for Move is going to start.. i think i read somewhere they have allocated quite a reasonable budget for MOVE's advertising in UK

Bet you the same crowd will give postive kinect evidence near release, infact there's already some doing it and this isn't even kinect thread LOL! |
the truth is that most of the people here live in NA or UK and we know those region have a lot more of 360 than PS3
so the kinect > move sales has to be expected.
no need to mention the hype gap that will be completed by a marketing gap between the 2 products.
Time to Work !
In Poland the shops with cheapest move bundles and stand alone controllers runned out of them and are awaiting new stock but those that sold at close to suggested retail price have plenty.
As for games from what i'm seeing on my favourite forum:
Sports Champions - very good, Kung fu- crap, Superstars - slightly less crappy but not good, The Shoot - very good, HR - gets much better, RE5 doesn't gain much, Eyepet - updating to move version is fucked up but gameplay is improved a lot.

I'm currently living in Edinburgh and I preordered the Move starter pack a few weeks ago from my local GAME store and I thought it included sports champions too. When I went to the store and asked them about it I remembered that that was a US bundle. The next day I returned it and asked for a single Move controller, but they were out o stock (in just 2 days), and I was happy to learn that Move was doing well, but then they told me that they got Move controllers only for those who preordered. In other words, they had little faith in the performance of the product.
Seriously, the Ps3 seems dead in the Uk (or at least in Edinburgh). I always see people buying 360 consoles and games. Every single ad I see in GAME and HMV stores is for the 360 (and a few for the wii). I even tried to join a gaming society and they only played pc and 360. I really don't get it!!
P.S. While I waiting in the queue to buy the starter pack there were two guys in front of me laughing at the ps3, saying that the only thing good about it is blu-ray. Oh, and they were buying Halo: Reach.

Didn't even get to number 1 on it's opening week, with no big title in it's way!

It is being advertised a lot on Australian radio... haven't seen any TV ads. For comparison, I've seen zero advertising for Halo: Reach and a couple on TV for Metroid recently.
EB Games and Harvey Norman both had demos set up. There was a small crowd every time I walked past. People seemed to be enjoying it. Target had an empty space in the cabinet where the controllers and Sports Champions packs were supposed to be.
I think it's doing alright down under.
