You know that that place is outrageous to be humorous, and follows the Kevin Butler line of marketing pretty well. Did you watch "The sensitive fireman"? Anyone who takes a chart where the only check the competition gets is for having a powercord is too sensitive to be honest...

Even though the Wii has declined in sales recently, it was pretty low for Microsoft to claim that they were not competing with Nintendo when they first entered the market with the original Xbox.  But yet they only claimed the original Xbox was no. 2 in North America and Europe when their total sales were in 3rd place behind the Gamecube.  Microsoft only climed that the Xbox was 2nd worldwide AFTER they sold enough units in North America and Europe to offset low sales in Japan to sell more units than the Gamecube.  If they weren't competing with Nintendo to begin with, they should have said they were no. 2 worldwide behind the PS2 regardless of being behind the Gamecube earlier during last generation. 

Wasn't released on a MS site so that's not possible. Press release they sent around after the official price was revealed so... Yeah.

Nintendo doesn't need to do that, because it's not trying to attract people to a new product.

Microsoft does that all the time.

People are going to be choosing between Move and Kinect, and so both Microsoft and Sony have to convince us that their motion gaming solution is better. That doesn't just mean it's good, it means that the competitor is bad.

Also, that chart is quite clearly a joke. But you're right, it's Microsoft-bashing from Sony, just like this chart is Apple-bashing from...Gaia?

I don't like it when any company does stupid comparisons like this, I prefer that they just advertise their own features without trying to compare dick-sizes...

 I do think this one is especially lol-worthy though because they included PSN and put a checkmark for the Move, but left off XBL which would have been one more for Kinect.
