The Expendables and it was actually ok. The first hour pretty boring but the second hour made up for it. Secondly the chemistry between stallone and statham wasn't really there and everthing seemed really forced. Apart from that not bad.

The American and it was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I would give it a 3/10 at best.

Reaoning? *possible spoilers*

- Based on the trailer I was expecting a solid action movie but there was very little action at all. There was 2 scenes with any shooting and 1 measly car chase that lasts maybe 30 seconds.

- 90% of the movie is him walking around, driving from place to place, having sex with some hooker (sounds like it would make the movie better but its unnecessary), building a gun, and talking to this priest who has nothing to do with the plot.

- There is no backstory. People are trying to kill him but it never explains why. Also we don't really know what his job is/was. Was he an assassin or a spy or was he simply a gunsmith (his job in the movie is to build a gun for some chick)

- Its an extremely slow moving film.
