The American and it was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I would give it a 3/10 at best.
Reaoning? *possible spoilers*
- Based on the trailer I was expecting a solid action movie but there was very little action at all. There was 2 scenes with any shooting and 1 measly car chase that lasts maybe 30 seconds.
- 90% of the movie is him walking around, driving from place to place, having sex with some hooker (sounds like it would make the movie better but its unnecessary), building a gun, and talking to this priest who has nothing to do with the plot.
- There is no backstory. People are trying to kill him but it never explains why. Also we don't really know what his job is/was. Was he an assassin or a spy or was he simply a gunsmith (his job in the movie is to build a gun for some chick)
- Its an extremely slow moving film.
