At cinema: Inception,  it's a good film, though was expecting a tour de force with all the hype. 8/10

At home:  From Paris with Love,  decent action flick, travolta was great in it. 8/10

I saw machette. The plot was more disjointed then it had to be. It paid tribute to the explotation movies of the 70's. It was a serious film, not a parody. It showed lindsey lohan topless, although I was'nt sure if that was her,are a stand-in. I thought steven segal was going to be in the film more than he was. I liked the film over-all,but it was'nt as good as I expected. lol

Kickass. It was pretty funny, though nothing too special.

A Perfect Getaway (2009)
Started it last night and finished it today (it was pretty cliche, but I try to make it through every movie I start, even if it takes a couple viewing sessions to do so). The twist really wasn't much of one and was clear from early on. Overall it was pretty much the standard in these type of films, I call em 'vacation thrillers' there really isn't much else to say about it.

I saw Machete last night. It was gory, over the top, and I loved it.

Just finished watching Fantastic Mr. Fox and it was indeed that, fantastic. It reminds me of The Office (U.S. version); where it has a lot of British style inspiration and humor (which I very much enjoy) but with American style casting.

I highly recommend it, as it's one of my most pleasant movie surprises this year. ^_^

Also, I just recently watched all of the Futurama movies (including the one that contains Dtewi's avatar ). They're pretty good, but I think they fit much better in a 23 minute viewing period. An hour and a half of Futurama just loses some of its spunk.

Personally I found that movie to be kinda lame. You should watch Coraline though. That movie was surprisingly great.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World. It's probably one of the best movie's I've seen in years. I've never read the comics, but the few people in the cinema that watched it, cheered and clapped at the end and that hasn't happened since Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.

Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl. Japanese gore movies are weird, but the movie was a pleasure to watch. The story was over the top, the special effects looked horrible, but I had a smile on my face for most of the movie. It's like watching a crazy anime that makes fun of itself and has an awesome soundtrack. It's basically Bayonetta without the game part. The hot Japanese girls are a big plus.

Death Proof & Planet Terror: Tarantino and Rodriguez know how to make great action movie's without the ridiculous amount of dude bro that usually follows Stallone and Statham. If you like Kill Bill or Sin City, then I recommend watching both.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Last film I watched was in fact yesterday called Last House on the Left (2009) which was pretty good and before that Beider Meinhoff Complex which was an excellent film. Last cinema film i think I watched was Avatar in 3D which was awesome.

Last in Cinema: Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. it just hits all the right notes for me. 9.75/10

Last at Home: Kick-Ass. Come for the titular character's awkwardness, stay for Hit Girl's epic fight scenes. It wins the award for best use of a classic TV theme song in a movie unrelated to the original series. 9.25/10

I've been watching a lot of movies recently. I can't remember the order I watched these in, but:

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World - awesome
Inception - awesome
Pulp Fiction - awesome
The Brave Little Toaster - awesome
Eraserhead - wtf

I have it from a good source (my dad) that eraserhead is the weirdest film ever made.

Your dad would be very right. It's directed by David Lynch, and David Lynch is a lunatic. If you like artistic movies that take a lot of thought to figure out, it's pretty good.

For me the words "artistic film" means that its basically a licence to be incredibly odd/disturbing.
