I'd normally be bouncing with excitement over this announcement but seeing as we're probably not getting the the SaGa 2 remake after all, there's no reason to set myself up for disappointment with this one too.

Awww, I wanted a remake of FF Legend II instead.    Ah well!  Surprising to see that they're still making new DS games, though.

Both Legend I and II have been remade on the DS already but they are Japan only releases.

Yeah, FF Legend 2 came out last year in Japan. It was the best one, and I was very very disappointed that we didn't get it over here. It was actually one off my favourite games of the time. I still remember the old Blue cartridge for Gameboy. 

It was an RPG where not only Odin was in the game, with Asura, but also Venus, Apollo, and Isis.

The Final Fantasy Legend games were always fun.

Legend (SaGa) 1 was remade for Wonderswan Color.  DS only got Legend (SaGa) 2.
