Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii Million sellers

In little over a year, the Wii has moved some impressive numbers in hardware, but will this momentum continue and does this trend in games that are selling well spell worry for anyone? Will third party developers give the Wii a chance with sales figures like this?

a non-troll/sexually oriented thread. i'm proud of you.

it looks like mario party is gonna pass zelda soon, thats dispicable.

I'm happy to see any Nintendo game be successful but I hope beyond hope that Mario Party 8 does not surpass Zelda..

The thing that does really come into view is that 8 out those 11 million sellers were either developed and/or published by nintendo, same for the >500k list. We'll have to wait until winter 2008 to see if there will be a change in the balance, because we will have another 3 titles from Nintendo that will probably surpass the 1 m mark (brawl, mario kart, wii fit).

Good numbers so far.If 3rd parties don't see Wiis potential by now they never will.Btw. your current avatar looks like a drawned kitty-version of yourself :) Simply cute.

Quality for Life

i cant believe 500K ppl bought Excite truck

ROFL

Only 820k WW for Metroid. Nintendo step up your advertising!

Well the wii will move software, its only been out a year. Its just up to 3rd parties to make games of qaulity and stop trying to make quick buck off ps2 ports, mini games and crappy spin offs.

Only one EA game and rightfully so, it is so dumb that there is no Burnout for the Wii since it won't have to compete with other games except their own NFS games.

Weezy, you're a good man, but I won't stand for any Excite Truck bashing.

It's not only the best racing game on the Wii now and possibly even until Mario Kart comes out, but it's the only racing game on the Wii that lets me do 720 degree spins in the air while blasting Depeche Mode from my SD card.

Take it back!
