Serious news guys. It seems like Codemasters totally scammed the whole gaming community and the early reviews were just a reaction to a mislead first impressions that very much change when you've played enough.

Not only the game is full of bugs and incomplete compared to what you'd get on a racing simulator like Forza or Gran Turismo, but the AI is simply a lie in every way possible.

It turns out that even a game like F-Zero GX on a previous gen and much inferior hardware was actually more convincing. Some are being smart and trying to get refunds or resell the game while you can.

Got my first points of the season yesterday, I was racing at shanghai and finished 8th, it was a 17 lap race and literally for the last 5-6 laps I had massa on my tail the whole time and not too far behind him was a pack of 5 cars so one mistake and I could of thrown it all away, I've never felt so tense on a gAme all I wanted was that last lap to come.

This game is a fucking disgrace. You're right haxxiy, Codemasters completely fooled everyone with this.

Example:

I was just winning the Monaco Grand Prix. I was out in first by about two or three seconds, so nothing massive, but decent. I accidentally clipped my wing on lap 4 (doing a 20% race distance race) so I pressed triangle to come into the pits a lap earlier than my strategy, which was lap 5 pit. I thought I'd get it fixed and get in and out, rejoin the back of the pack then win once everyone else pitted a lap later (as the AI never pits til lap 5).

I enter the pit, checking my rear view (because the pit lane is auto controlled and Im bored) and :O WTF? A Mclaren APPEARS FROM THIN AIR in the pit slot behind me! Doesn't even enter the pits! Then, a procession of cars enter the pits, one after the other, one of them pits while the other five drive down the pit lane and leave again! ITS PEFECTLY ENGINEERED TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THE CARS ARE ALL PITTING FROM THE NORMAL VIEWPOINT! BUT THEY ARENT! In fact, the game counts their drive down the pit lane as a pit, gives them fresh tyres and puts them out on track ahead of you with no need to pit, even though you should have come out behind non-pitted cars, as you were first into the pits. The faking makes it impossible to win.

Its fake. Its all fake. Im trading this piece of shit in today.

Game has major issues but I love it anyway haha the best part about F1 2010 is the time trial mode and it's awesome. My major issue is the lack of feeling of weight in the car with my wheel. It's harder to catch a spin than it should be and it's basically all visual, there's no slip of the wheel or anything.. Need for Speed: Shift does a far better job with this.

CM have A LOT to answer to and A LOT to improve if they want my money next year.. They have the basics down, now they have to really get cracking and give us the game we should have gotten this year.

Also Melbourne is by far the best race on the calendar to drive, the flow of the track is beautiful.. 1.27 flat is my best time in Melbourne so far with no assists, I won't be happy until that's down to a 1.24 :P (might take me a while though)

I haven't had any of the bugs yet and I've played it quite a bit. I'm sure there will be patches coming for all the reported bugs but I stand by my statement of this being the best F1 game I've played.

How is everyone going in their career??

My career is going well, I'm playing through on hard and I've only got 4 championship points but the team is really happy with my performances. My next race is Istanbul and I'm looking forward to it after my dreadful Monaco race, I qualified last but managed to pull up to 13 th position by lap 5 and then went and had a high speed crash which ended my race! So im hoping to redeem myself in istanul and score some points... Hopfully

Well I have had mixed feelings with this game

I got the game on Thursday and started my career as Toro Rosso, and much to my surprise, I won the first race by 45 seconds... I then came 4th in Melbourne, so I realised that I should probably adjust the difficulty from medium to hard

But then it all went wrong. My problem is that I keep on spinning and I don't really know how to avoid it, and so I finished 24th in the 3rd race and then 23rd in the next because of a puncture. I need to find a middle ground!

if you've gone from medium to hard, then your traction control would of also been turned off or maybe turned to medium and thats what your most probably struggling with. so just go to your options leave the game difficulty on hard but change your traction control to on. that could help.

i played both ps3 version and 360 version in the booths today in hmv. looked the same to me.

terrific grafix and audio has good detail in the backgrounds, and has a full campain thats properly fleshed out, unlike f1 championchip edition.

doesnt look better in motion than f1 CE, but certainly packs more of a game in there.

just read much of that thread, it seems shameful imo. if i had bought the game and spent time with it only to find issues like that id take it back.
