You write those wall of text reviews in 40 minutes?

I really like the idea of making the black box transparent cause it would make it easier to make banners.

I just made this for Mortal Kombat -

but a large part of it would be cut out :/ I don't expect this to happen anytime soon cause VGC has been really slow in responding to some other, bigger problems.

We aren't adding some random youtuber as a video reviewer. VGChartz will, someday, be doing video reviews. When we do it will we do it the right way, with a professional editor, capture cards, and a good narrator. We are not currently set up to do so, and will not be this year. That does not mean we will never do it, but we're going to wait and do it the right way.

The longer ones (GoW3 comes to mind) can take maybe an hour and a half,  but never more than that.

wow, my 'long' reviews take like 2 days to write and hour and a half I barely got a paragraphe :p

I personally do not mind whether the black box is transparent or not.

I've submited over 70 Banners so far and I made sure that it's a good fit to the VGC style so that the review box doesn't block too much important stuff of the banner.

If you want examples, go see the ones I made for FF XIII, MGS4, God of War III, Killzone 3, LBP 2, etc.

Even in the Modnation one which Boutros posted, I made that banner so that it fits with the VGC layout and making sure the review Box doesn't block anything major and look good.

And I'll continue to make more banners for VGC :D

is the footage limited by the dev only before the game is out or can you take footage yourself once the game is out?

If not, would you host user video reviews? Might be an indirect way to have them on the site, without having official VGC video reviews....
