Kevin Butler's schtick lost it's luster awhile ago. Now only die hard Sony fanboys go gaga for him. At best his ads were amusing, at their worst they insulted the gamers they hoped to convert. I'd like to see his character stick to the positives rather than mudslinging. That Marcus kid has got to go. He's terrible. Generaly though, I think game commercials should focus on the game rather than mildly amsuing skits.

Grimes and ymeaga1n; are you two of those typical folks who don't realize there's a world outside of the US? If something is released or available for purchase in Europe but not in the US, a lot of people pretend it doesn't exist. The original Halo 3 bundle did quite well here in Norway and was available day one at the games release.

I'm not saying the guy didn't make an ass of himself in his posts but get your head out of the clouds on this one thing; he did not lie about that bundle. There is a whole world out there outside the United States, learn about it.

I doubt reach will outsell GT5, I consider GT5 to have much wider target audience.

They're both going to do over 10 million though and this thread won't really lead to any solid conclusion.

Ummmm...Kind of hard to do a sales comparisons of marquee titles on the PS2 and the xbox...ummm...cause like the PS2 sold over 100M units while the xbox sold very well...but enterd the game late and sold far less...so taking the numbers of systems sold and attach rate for the games...the Halo games sell better.  So yes, Halo Reach will easily outsell GT:5, because the 360 actaully has the sales advantage right now.

Just a quick question...Why do you count Hao 2 Map pack downloads???  That would be like adding in car and track downloads for racing games.....

So when matched up with system/attach rates Halo is a better seller.

What the OP doesnt realise is GT5 will not sell anything like the previous. 

Reach will beat GT5 by over 3 million sales.
