To me, Babylon Five >>>>> All.

I love how the Escape Velocity video game series tries to recapture a bit of the lore of Babylon Five. Especially Escape Velocity Nova

Doctor Who - except when it got crap, but I always loved the concept even when they screwed it up.

First season of Battlestar Galactica.

I'm not sure it was true SF but I have very early memories of being scared shitless by The Survivors, which I believe was about the world going to pot after an epidemic caused by a leaked military virus

I also have very fond memories of the first V series.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
