ACTUALLY THE $399 bundle has all of that content

$400! wow okay, I take back Sports Champions, it has no chance. $400, are you serious? I could buy a 360 and a Wii for that price, no Kinect, but a Wii!!

Sports Champions only comes bundled with a $120 Move package, and a $400 PS3 package, and looking at the Pre-orders for Sports Champions... It has no chance.

At least Kinect comes with the 360 arcade and is sold for $300, the same price as a PS3.

you take in and then take out

it is still 349 euros

actually pre-orders don't include the bundle orders

PS3 MOVE bundle will get a price cut.sony is doing the same thing MS did wait and then release the price.the move wiill become cheaper

if its trumps in EU then sony wouldn't care though

Well you and postofficebuddy are telling me different PS3 prices in Europe.

Postofficebuddy is saying a Move bundled 320 gig PS3 is replacing the current 250 gig model, and selling it at the same price (300 euros), and that a 160 gig model is being sold for $275 Euros. Your telling me that the Move bundled PS3 in Europe is 350 euros, which is 50 euros more then the regular PS3. Still a moderatly good deal.

However since I'm not too familiar with past PS3 price point in Europe, and in general the Europe market, I will simply refer the the US price of the PS3. To my knowledge:

$200 - 360 Slim Arcade 4 gig

$210 - Wii bundled with Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resorts, and a Motion Plus add on

$300 - 360 Slim Arcade 4 gig bundled with Kinect/Kinect Adventures

$300 - 360 Slim 250 gig

$300 - PS3 Slim 250 gig

$400 - PS3 Slim 320 gig bundled with Sports Champions/Move

I just don't see how what is essentially an HD Wii immitation will sell over a couple million units at DOUBLE the price of the Wii. I could buy a Wii AND a 360 for that price, and as good a the Move potentially is, it's never going to be anywhere nearly as good as a Wii.

However, Sports Champions is also bundled with the top of the line $120 Move package, which I also don't see pushing too many units. Probably a couple million at best.

Finally as a stand alone game, it will at best sell 500k, and even that I find high because you still have to buy at least the $50 move controller (assuming you have a PS Eye) to play the game, and how many PS3 owners have a PS Eye?

Move will become cheaper, next fall, but so will Kinect, and I just don't see the move selling more then a few million units. There is simply a lack of casual Move titles, and I don't see why people would buy a Move-PS3 over a Wii, which has way more games. I do see a few hardcore gamers considering the device for Killzone 3, and Resident Evil 5: Gold edition, but honestly, how many people will buy a $80-$120 peripheral for a couple unreleased games? Even then how many will buy the $120 package with Sports champions?

It could sell 10 million, only if Move manages to compete against kinect, and gets a severe price cut, as well as a few more non Wii-ported titles, otherwise it's just a rich hardcore gamers magic little wand. Except it doesn't magically sell 10 million.

No, no, no, you misinterpreted something I said. The 160 isn't €275, I said that theoretically they could cut the price to that. The 160 is €300 and 320 bundle is €350, the same prices that the 120 and 250 were before. I only said that they could cut the price of the 160 to €275 because the inherent value of the 320 is so dramatically higher that it's not even a contest on which one to buy. It's basically adding an additional €120 worth of value for just €50. I would compare it to Nintendo offering a balance board with every Wii. And I think you're overlooking GT5. That game will be absolutely enormous in Europe and with headtracking being a key feature in the game a lot of people are going to want to pick up a PSEye, which is obviously included with the bundle.

there would  be on PS4 and it will sell 6m

Peace Walker was MGS5.  And it'll be lucky to sell 1.5m.

it was in the worth of the game

but it isn't titled MGS5 and MGS5 will be bigger

Well, the game was developed as MGS5 and Kojima says it's MGS5.  Konami was probably right in not allowing the title to carry on though, it'd have been a wasted effort on PSP sales wise.  Should've been a Wii game, or even PSN/XBLA.

we don't know if those are orginal konami's or not

and kojima has commented itself that MGS PW would have been MGS5 but was not as its on a handheld

the real MGS5 will come next gen and will be a big game

and no it wouldn't have been on other platform cause basically MGS PW was made as MGSRISING went to  360 and kojima wanted to compensate for his loved PS fanbase and even SONY made them develop it to psuh PSP sales

lol, those images come directly from Konami PR.  Hell, the teaser site for PW used a big "5" in it.

According to Kojima, PW *is* MGS5.  That's how it was developed and that's what he personally considers it.  The "real" MGS5 basically is on shelves right now.

Also, loved PS fanbase?  I'm going to need a source for that bullshit... everything I've read said they went PSP to try and reach a wider audience.

they would have put it up at first but later removed it

and kojima only said MGSPW was the real next MGS cause of the Rising release,he would say the same when he releases MGS5 on PS4

if you really thing that is bullshit then you are being delusional, kojima has always stated PS is the real home of MGS

and abt reaching new audiece, you have got to be kidding me? - wider audience with PSP where sales are worst.you only post whatever you want the things to be like but you are wrong alot of times

Thank you for the clarification. However we don't judge the sucess of a console bundle baised on theoretical price cuts.

It is an interesting observation, but I beleive Sony is bundling in all that Move stuff so cheap so it takes off, and sells units. Also if Sony makes a price cut on the base PS3, MS will probably make a price cut on its 360 because the 360 is cheaper to produce.

I know GT5 will be huge, I just think it will sell slightly lower then past interations of Gran Turismo. 8.5 million is still a lot for a PS3 exclusive. Thats my guess, and I am not telling anyone who beleives GT5 will sell 10 million is wrong. I am just saying that there are many reasons why it won't sell as well as past installments, and few reasons why it will keeep up, so that is why I beleive it will not make 10 million sales.

As for this 350 Euros PS3, thats a lot of money. Some extreme gamers (who don't already have a PS3), will want to pick up the bundle, but I just can't see something so expensive taking off. I do beleive Move will do moderatly well, I just doesn't see most people getting the top package.

$299 ps3 is just 160gb

$349 ps3 has 250gb

$349 ps3 320gb and $399 320gb ps3 move bundle will be released in september

Sorry I live in Canada, Wii is $210 here. Also wow really, a 250 gig 360 is the same price as a 160 gig ps3? $400 bundle looks nicer because of the bigger hard-drive, but like I said you can buy a Wii and X-Box for that price. It's a good bundle, but it's still $400 and I know people who buy two or three cars for that price.

I just don't see how what is essentially an HD Wii immitation will sell over a couple million units at DOUBLE the price of the Wii. I could buy a Wii AND a 360 for that price, and as good a the Move potentially is, it's never going to be anywhere nearly as good as a Wii.

we are just saying when people are buying a ps3 itself ,they would  pay a little higher price for a more worth bundle

I'm saying at that price, you can get an X-Box, and a Wii. The Wii will be better then PS Move, and X-Box is the same quality as PS3 (not going to argue about that now, so don't go off saying PS3 is better because of blah blah blah). Some people, who actually just want a PS3, with a few games that can use the Wii-mote, but not many. Sony is trying to tap into Nintendo's market, simple as that and at $400, $400!!! I don't see many systems selling

However, Sports Champions is also bundled with the top of the line $120 Move package, which I also don't see pushing too many units. Probably a couple million at best.

you seem to get the pricing wrong alot of times

move package is $99

$50 for the Move controller, $80 for the Move controler and PS Eye, wasn't the last one $120 for a Move Controller, PS Eye, Navigation Controller, and Sports Champions. I specifically recall the top Move bundle being priced $120.

Finally as a stand alone game, it will at best sell 500k, and even that I find high because you still have to buy at least the $50 move controller (assuming you have a PS Eye) to play the game, and how many PS3 owners have a PS Eye?

i never said sports champions would sell well then why are you quoting me and giving your opinion abt it

Move will become cheaper, next fall, but so will Kinect, and I just don't see the move selling more then a few million units. There is simply a lack of casual Move titles, and I don't see why people would buy a Move-PS3 over a Wii,

again i never said abt what sports champions and move will be selling

Were talking about if Sports Champions will break 10 million. Actually you kinda barged into this discussion with post office buddy.

and again you see the current wii decline,it shows that people are getting bored of it

they want to upgrade to the next step and the newer thing

Kinect..

and the main thing which was blocking ps3 sales was price and now that it is cheaper, people are getting on the bandwagon and when they go to buy a ps3,they see a more wirthy bundle and they might consider buying it

Main thing blocking PS3 sales was price? Thats odd since the 360 Elite and PS3 have been the same price for a year and a half, and thats when PS3 sales have been highest.

Also, $400... you said price is the main issue for low sales and well......$400!!!

which has way more games. I do see a few hardcore gamers considering the device for Killzone 3, and Resident Evil 5: Gold edition, but honestly, how many people will buy a $80-$120 peripheral for a couple unreleased games? Even then how many will buy the $120 package with Sports champions?]

wrong price

Right Price, $120 includes the navigation controller, which is essential to play most hardcore games (killzone). $100 gets you a Sports package, but without the navigation controller, you won't be able to play many games.

unreleased games???????????

move isn't launching now,it is launching when the games are coming in

It could sell 10 million, only if Move manages to compete against kinect,

kinect has the same problem like move that its priced very high

you contradict your own opinion

Kinect however is getting Pre-orders, it has a large foundation of games, comes with a much more reasonable $300 bundle, and from what I hear (PS3, Wii, and 360 owners alike), Kinect looks awesome. It's inovative, and thats what made Nintendo so big this generation. Kinect is going to sell because it's new, Move isn't because it's an immitation Wii-mote.

and gets a severe price cut, as well as a few more non Wii-ported titles, otherwise it's just a rich hardcore gamers magic little wand. Except it doesn't magically sell 10 million.

so you are from the future

Lets see what happenes, I usually make good predictions.

lol, those images come directly from Konami PR.

No, Kojima actually said it was MGS5.  The only reason it wasn't titled MGS5 was it being on PSP.

Still waiting on that "loved PS fanbase" link... I have a feeling I'll be waiting indefinitely though...
