| Michael-5 said: Well you and postofficebuddy are telling me different PS3 prices in Europe. no we both said the same price he was just saying what sony should do to clear stock and differentiate price from other bundles Postofficebuddy is saying a Move bundled 320 gig PS3 is replacing the current 250 gig model, and selling it at the same price (300 euros), and that a 160 gig model is being sold for $275 Euros. Your telling me that the Move bundled PS3 in Europe is 350 euros, which is 50 euros more then the regular PS3. Still a moderatly good deal. he was giving suggestion for clearnace not the actual price and look at what you typed you type the price 275 euros with a dollar sign However since I'm not too familiar with past PS3 price point in Europe, and in general the Europe market, I will simply refer the the US price of the PS3. To my knowledge: $200 - 360 Slim Arcade 4 gig $210 - Wii bundled with Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resorts, and a Motion Plus add on $300 - 360 Slim Arcade 4 gig bundled with Kinect/Kinect Adventures $300 - 360 Slim 250 gig $300 - PS3 Slim 250 gig $400 - PS3 Slim 320 gig bundled with Sports Champions/Move wrong wii with wii sports and resort and motion plus is $199 $299 ps3 is just 160gb $349 ps3 has 250gb $349 ps3 320gb and $399 320gb ps3 move bundle will be released in september I just don't see how what is essentially an HD Wii immitation will sell over a couple million units at DOUBLE the price of the Wii. I could buy a Wii AND a 360 for that price, and as good a the Move potentially is, it's never going to be anywhere nearly as good as a Wii. who said its going be as good as wii or sell like it we are just saying when people are buying a ps3 itself ,they would pay a little higher price for a more worth bundle However, Sports Champions is also bundled with the top of the line $120 Move package, which I also don't see pushing too many units. Probably a couple million at best. you seem to get the pricing wrong alot of times move package is $99 Finally as a stand alone game, it will at best sell 500k, and even that I find high because you still have to buy at least the $50 move controller (assuming you have a PS Eye) to play the game, and how many PS3 owners have a PS Eye? i never said sports champions would sell well then why are you quoting me and giving your opinion abt it Move will become cheaper, next fall, but so will Kinect, and I just don't see the move selling more then a few million units. There is simply a lack of casual Move titles, and I don't see why people would buy a Move-PS3 over a Wii, again i never said abt what sports champions and move will be selling and again you see the current wii decline,it shows that people are getting bored of it they want to upgrade to the next step and the newer thing and the main thing which was blocking ps3 sales was price and now that it is cheaper, people are getting on the bandwagon and when they go to buy a ps3,they see a more wirthy bundle and they might consider buying it which has way more games. I do see a few hardcore gamers considering the device for Killzone 3, and Resident Evil 5: Gold edition, but honestly, how many people will buy a $80-$120 peripheral for a couple unreleased games? Even then how many will buy the $120 package with Sports champions?] wrong price unreleased games??????????? move isn't launching now,it is launching when the games are coming in It could sell 10 million, only if Move manages to compete against kinect, kinect has the same problem like move that its priced very high you contradict your own opinion and gets a severe price cut, as well as a few more non Wii-ported titles, otherwise it's just a rich hardcore gamers magic little wand. Except it doesn't magically sell 10 million. so you are from the future |
