Hmm, had forgotten about the new Arcade.

Well, might as well stand by my prediction anyway.

PS3 to do it in 10 weeks.

360 in 11.

I'd put my money on the 360. Its been selling significantly better, Slim Arcade just hit the market, and Reach is coming.

Xbox 360 without a doubt. I know my country and it belongs to the Wii first with the 360 as a mistress, while the PS3 is the hot co-worker.

Honestly, too many factors to take into account such as the Move vs. Kinect sales in the US. Judging by the marketing dollars being spent in the US, I have a hunch the Kinect will sell double the 360s in comparison to the PS3s being sold by Move.

Sony for some reason has a resigned attitude towards the US, while it spends all it's marketing dollars in Japan, Europe and emerging 2nd world markets.

PS3

I voted PS3 but kind off forgot about the Arcade coming. I really expect that to do suprisingly well because it has the new Slim design, some proper storage and for $199. A lot off peopel used to buy the Pro/Elite because they needed the hard drive anyway, but 4gig of storage might be enough for the people who just want to try out some demo's or other Live stuff now and then.

However i don't expect Reach to boost hardware a lot, there have already been two Halo games on the 360 so i don't think anyone is waiting until Reach to buy a 360.

360... Reach and the Arcade model will push it IMO ahead of the PS3...

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Well just this past week the 360 sold considerably better than PS3. The Slim Arcade just hit the market. And Reach is hiting the store in about 6 weeks.

Hence, it'll hit the 25 million mark in less than 10 weeks.

At current rate: PS3.

But there is Halo: Reach on the path... so 360 win after all.

PS. With adjustments this will be change.

yea what ethomaz said

I hope the X360.

25 million is an amazing number. It's almost the lifetime sales number of a standard console at the end of a generation. I remember when PS2 had 40 million in sales in America at the end of last gen. 25 mill ain't that far away.

In my opinion the X360 is the standard console in this generation. Especially in America.
