PS3 outsellls 360 year to year? Is that why they are still behind 360 ? If they truely outsold them they would at least be slightly ahead. PS3 had a decent year because they released their slim model and had a small price cut. Now Xbox 360 has done the same and is also going to have another good year. Debates like this are prety worthless, I say everyone in doubt go look for yourself and the books and net numbers at Forbes, wallstreet. MS as whole made much more money, for the last 3 yrs 360 has added a net profit the the bottom line ( 38 million after bills from the Xbox division) and a recent article from wallstreet points out Sony's PC and Gaming division was completely in the red this year - Red means loss folks. Why is MS netting a profit from 360? More games sold, and 20 Million Xbox Live members rakes in cash too..
This is the irrelevant. This thread isn't about money made from either MS or Sony. I's about the amount of units their going to sell in the future.
As is all your subjective campaigning about the 'PS3's brighter future and "demolishing" 2011 lineup...

What I was saying was relevant to the thread title. This guy is talking about money and profits which has nothing to do with the PS3 surpassing/not surpassing the 360 in units sold.

I would argue that price cuts have the biggest affect on sales. Learning the history of the products profitability gives more insight to one consoles future than one person claiming game x is better game y with superlative verbs.
Yeah, but MOVE has some hardcore MOVE titles like The Fight, Sorcery, Kung Fu Rider, etc. Sony themselves said they wanted MOVE to be a hardcore controller.
Hmmm... do you really consider those core games?
The Fight seems like a pretty simple straight forward game to me. And since you mention it... I'm incredibly disappointed with that game because it doesn't appear to follow your real motions. Its more like punching gestures triggers an animation already programed into the game. You can tell from watching this video. Worst of all, the guy at end of the video is doing punches and the game doesn't even recognize them.
I don't even know what to think about Kung Fu Rider. I don't understand how it really even makes use of the Move. I don't really consider it a core game. And since it requires the Move controller, it'll likely do poor.
Sorcery is the only game I would really consider core. But it doesn't even seem fleshed out yet. Probably gonna be awhile before that hits the market.
Sony may have said this was designed for core gaming. But as of right now, we only casual games being designed specifically for it. The core games that use it can be played with a joystick.

I guess that makes since, although he didn't connect what he said with future price cuts. He just said MS had a lot of money.
When I said Sony 2011 was better than MS. I was talking about quantity, not quality.

My bad, I meant Kung Fu Live, not Kung Fu Rider. The Fight is still hardcore IMO (although we'll have to wait for release ), whether it's a good game or bad game.

You consider any game where you punch things a core game?
I don't know what to say about that game either. You stare at yourself and flail at things. Its true to just about every other Eyetoy game. But how is that a core experience? Core has clearly lost all meaning.

Hmm, you have a point. I guess I've been misusing the word core. I don't know anymore. I guess Sorcery is the only core game for MOVE (that was made for MOVE).
Oh well, I have faith in Sony to make similar games.
