I don't know what to think of this. It sounds like it's just Mass Effect with swords. The voiced main character is just taking away more options to create your character with races, and if the voice sucks it'll be horrible. I was under the impression that Dragon Age was an attempt at a throwback to Baldur's Gate, now they want to throw that out the window and go after the ME crowd.

dragon age was very gud game (especilly aftr playing the train wreck called esIV: oblivion...left bad taste in my mouth)

will buy this, only bioware make gud wrpg now.

Sounds like a ridiculous amount of game changes for a sequal in the same gen, hope it's still awesome. But it's Bioware, so it will be! :D

That's what it feels like to me too. Really sad though since DA was such an awesome game and ME was just kind of ok too. If they are right that DA has done better than ME, then why are they making DA2 like something that did not do as well?

Dragon Age: Origins was awesome. Im a lil disappointed that u wont be able to transfer your character from DA: Origins to Dragon Age 2.

This sounds more promising- combat for the PC to stay the same as before, the wheel dialogue not as simplistic as ME and your actions in DA:O to have an effect on events in DA2.

I hope this doesn't mean I'll have to buy both the console and PC versions. =P

Heh. I suppose if they're sufficiently different experiences, then it might be worthwhile. I'm just glad that it looks like they'll be fixing the problems with the console versions without cutting down the PC version.

Finally a developer who gets it. It has only taken like 5 years for them to warm up to this.

Can't believe they didn't left an option for race.

I liked Dragon Age, but it was no where as good as Baldur's Gate, not even close. And now its just getting worse. Not sure if I'm going to get this one  first day or not now.
