By the way, how much is Micro$ofts fine at the moment? Last time i checked, EU Comission upped the fine to increase for 3 million EUR per day.

i thought it was 2 million euro's a day

It was settled this year.

[edit] Apparently there have been a variety of EU investigations on Microsoft since 1998ish. Including the abuse of power investigation.  At least one has been in the headlines within the last two months.

They have all been settled.  The one you saw in the news was about an appeal that Microsoft lost and has agreed to pay the fine to.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Maybe we should take up a collection for Microsoft.

Maybe we should just donate to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation? It's one of the largest charities in the world, for those who don't know.

It could be that EU theatened to raise the fine to 3M, i can't recall how it was. Do you happen to know, legend, that did M$ give the source code/access to the Windows core to developers, as EU demanded? @Scruff: Well Enron wasn't a good guy and Sega didn't go bankrupt.
