Two platformers this Christmas from good ol' Nintendo. Both 2 player, both 2d, and both famous characters. Which do you want more, and why?

Donkey Kong Country Returns unhesitatingly.

Kirby!  I love Kirby, and the artstyle is amazing.

DKC:R brings back a lot of memories, and is guaranteed to be great for me, while Kirby is also established with me(not as much) although it looks much more "new" or rather original and creative. Both look great, so I can't really choose.

Donkey Kong Country's gameplay as a series looks too samey. I've never played DKC (though I've seen it played) and this looks very true to the origina. So I may buy it, depending on whether the 2P co-op is as good as NSMB Wii. And of course I loved Metroid Prime, so if they've brought Retro-quality design and Kenji Yamamoto music to it then I'll have no choice.

Kirby: Epic Yarn. Never really liked Donkey Kong Country before, so I don't think it will be different now.

well DKC isnt made by same ppl, i think it will be ok though.

but my money is prolly gonna go on kirby epic yarn

While Kirby looks fantastic, I'd have to go with the nostalgia of DK.
