 Just what I was thinking about ... I think it will pass the PSone in Q3-4 09 , and probably Q4 2010 it will reach PS2 levels ...

what happens when the ds gets a price drop to below 100? its like 130 right now.

A price drop will boost it for sure, but after a while, perhaps in 2 years, people might get sick of the DS and want Nintendo's new handheld...we'll see.

maybe theyll come out with an even smaller ds. loads of people are just using it for vision training etc and a smaller ds means more sales if they get it down to cell phone size.

It will take many years for the Nintendo DS to surpass the Playstation, and Playstation 2. There are only, just under 60 million Nintendo DS consoles sold. It's going to take a long, long time. Not 8 months... LOL...

The first number you see is the first week of the month and so on...
I always used 5 weeks for Nobember and 4 for December. For 2007 there's still one week left for November.
First four weeks Nobember 2006 (WW): 2 228 893

First four weeks November 2007 (WW): 2 806 147

Difference: 577 254

DS is set to significantly outpace 2006's numbers.

edit: the lay out is a bit screwed and i can't seem to fix it, sorry, but the most important thing is the conclusion i mentionned above.
