I tried bumper jumper but it sucks that the armor ability is x it just feels weird.  So I went back to default so I could do the ability with LB

Please keep in mind that all you are playing is a beta. It's not the final game.

Another thing, the reason why the game plays slowly is because it is a prequel to Halo. Obviously you never read the books or at least didn't read Fall of Reach. Master Chief doesn't have Mark V armor yet :P

Are you kidding? The skill gap in this game is absolutely huge. The skill it takes to shoot well is ridiculous not to mention so many small nuances that add depth to the game. Every single loadout is balanced and a smart player can easily take advantage of a loadouts weaknesses.

I've been playing Halo since Halo:CE in xbc, have gone to MLG tournies, won countless local tournaments and played with some of the best Halo players alive. Are you seriously telling me that you think this game takes no skill because I can promise you that you could pick whatever loadout you want, I will kill you 90 percent of the time if not more.

The skill gap in this game is so high I played with 3 friends last night and we did not lose a single game. All I'm seeing is someone who can't adapt to new mechanics and is whining because he keeps losing.

This is a test of the Halo: Reach multiplayer netcode under stressed conditions.

Hey, im from Australia and it did the same thing to me. I just left it on that screen for about 20 mins and it finally found the server. IGN has some tips if this sort of thing is happening so you could check that out also. Hope this helps. 

lol. I know so many COD and Battlefield players who would describe halo 2 and 3 as "armor powerup, skilless game".

Stop being a baby and give it some time. You will get good and find it balanced again...

Lol, the reason reach isn't halo 4 is because the halo storyline after 4 has nowhere to go.

Nah man I'm a Halo 3 lover and I think this game is so different.  And it's awesome.

The game is just pure sexy.

WAY more strategic options with the abilities, and it's fun to figure out ways to take out all the different ones. I currently love stalker with a hammer- though I can already see how better players are starting to pick up one the not-quite-cloaked cloaking.
