You're smart enough to know that it doesn't work like that in real life..

Sure it does. At least if all you say is... "They aren't telling the truth."
Someone who's innocent... has no problem saying "I'm innocent." well unless it's an episode of Law and Order or Law and Order SVU and they need a clifhanger last minute reveal of "Wait it was this guy all along!"
In fact... if your innocent you usually want to shout it from the rooftops... afterall not doing so pollute jurors wondering why you aren't.

I gotta disagree with you here Kasz.
If you say, before the court case that you were innocent and have irrefutable proof of this, then that just gives the other side time to think up a lie good enough to refute it, the innocent do not always prevail, unfortunately

But.. thats not the way to do that... you say: "they aren't telling the truth... and here is our evidence... Mr judge & jurors"
Simply telling "they aren't telling the truth" would be enough for all the gamelovers.. but not in court.. jurors must look at the evidence not public opinion..

So, without them saying "I'm innocent and I have proof." It is your opinion that the other side is going to assume they are in fact guilty... and are going to admit they are guilty.
FYI. When accused... Activision said "I'm innocent and I have proof." Then with that proof filed a counter claim.

Actually they did.

They aren't even saying that in public.
I mean... lets review the facts.
1) Something happens.
2) West and Zampella are fired for negotiating under EA when they had a clause saying they aren't aloud to negotiate under contract along with other non sited issues.
3) West and Zampella are fired.
4) West and Zampella IMMEDIATLY open up a studio with EA. Sue for Activision for when they were fired. (Not why.)
5) Activision puts up a countersuit.
6) West and Zampella contest nothing.
The fact that people actually think West and Zampella are innocent here boggles my mind. I mean, they opened a studio... with the exact company they were accused of negotating with... practically immediatly after being fired.
It would be like Apple firing me for spying on them to Microsoft and that I was arranging a deal to be President of the Zune branch... then two weaks later I got a job as President of the Zune branch.

Nothing in that article has them refuting it. Did you mean to post another article? The closest thing I can see is the mentioning of the original lawsuit... in which they don't actually deny doing those things, but they deny that Activision's investigation had no reason for happening. Much how just because a drug lord is selling drugs out of his house... you need due cause to search his house.

2 more people have just left Infinity Ward:
that brings up the total to 20!!!
20 people left so far...It seems that the next Call of duty games won't be call of duty at all....
I hope the new company (Respawn) will make something different, not another War franchise. These guys have talent.
