Honestly, I can't be arsed to keep on quoting and answering to every single reply.
@ guiduc, yes I do understand, don't try to detour the discussion lol You said that motions control cost. I proved that they aren't that expensive, and that Nintendo could lower the console's price. It's that simple.
About the Third Parties, err, that's because you said that SNES and the NES had TP support. And I just said that Sony made it work properly. Therefor, credits go to Sony.
@wyrdeness, cut on the insults ffs. That's one of the things that makes me lose my calm, I've made so many replies on this thread and haven't insulted anyone, you do your first and you go all like "you don't know shit about this, that's stupid as fuck" Not everyone shares your opinion about this, so try to be reasonable.
Seriously, you said some things that were so... God damn it where's the damn facepalm.jpg!!!
No one is stopping Nintendo from expanding. BUT THAT WON'T HAPPEN BECAUSE THEY ONLY NEED THE GAMING INDUSTRY. BECAUSE THEY ARE GOOD AT MAKING GAMES, NOT MOVIES, NOT MUSIC, NOT OS's. Seriously, it's so stupid to have this discussion, I can't believe I actually said that. Ok... let's make this easier. Sony is a big company. Sony Computer Entertainment needs to have profits, just like Nintendo. Just because they can get money from somewhere else, because Sony is a big corporation, it doesn't mean they can give products. And another thing, Nintendo isn't needy AT ALL. Let's see the problem that made me rage in the first place: 200€, for a console, with ONE controller, and Wii Sports. That's it. I had to buy another controller, that didn't even had a damn nunchunk. I mean, how can that be a good deal??
About the Eye Toy, next time I'll use the power glove instead of the Wii example. Compared to the power glove, the eye toy did an excellant job. But I wanted to give some credit at Nintendo for making a good use of the motions controller, 'cause I was starting to sound a too much like an Anti-Nintendo, and most people wouldn't realize that I don't hate their games. Anyway, go search for some 2006 threads, when people (i.e. fanboys) used to say that the PS2 already had motion controllers.
So yh, I wasted 2 hours of my life just replying people. Guess I won't come near this thread again, if you wanna discuss any ideas PM me or something, just no damn insults and talk like you should, please. Once again, you can't expect that everyone is happy with Nintendo's success, and vice versa.
