OP: You thought no one would feel slighted by this thread simply because you chose not to make it in the Nintendo forum? That was your first mistake, the thread itself and its replies is clear enough evidence of that. The biggest mistake, however, was making the thread to begin with, it is utterly silly, childish and positively whiny.
cAPSLOCK; however bitter your post sounds, as an avid PC gamer I can relate to it. Genres are being killed or warped into something unrecognizable for the sole purpose of catering to those who wouldn't normally like them. I'm still waiting for RPG's to be torn apart and become nothing but a shadow of its former self.
