Forums - Sony - Without a doubt in my mind Kratos would annihilate Link.

if you take away their weapons it would make for a hand to hand and ive never seen link rip someone in half

Link can lift an obelisk that's like ten feet in diameter and three stories tall, made of black onyx, and throw it like a hundred yards

He is stupid strong

Kratos can push apart the grip of a Titan.

He's stronger.

you guys say that link has invisibility as an edge vs kratos but dont remember that perseus used that in gow2 and kratos still rapped him.....hard.

Not invisibility, intangibility.

Perseus (who was a pansy compared to the mythological version) could still be hit when he was invisible - Link can't. Period. End of discussion!

If you want to set up a discussion where Link doesn't have his game-breaking cape that's fine, but if he has it and Chateau Romanin then Kratos can't win, period. Doesn't matter how strong he is.

Kratos also has items that give him invulnerability, so it's a tie.

SO to sum it up:

A single version of Link vs a single version of Kratos - depends on the version, and GoW3 Kratos will beat every single one.

Combined - A tie.

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

Sorry but *spoilers*

Kratos killed Gaia, Cronos, Hades, Hermes, Heracles, Helios, Poseidon... I don't think Link is going to be able to do something against him...

In fairness, Link's kill list makes Kratos's look really, really, really puny.

Okay... youre done. I'm not taking you seriously anymore. Kratos conquered countless armies. He had armies conquer other armies in his name. He slaughters thousands of beasts in one game. Link has nothing on kill count.

So you do acknowledge that Kratos can't beat Link with Chateau Romani and the Magic Cape, right?

have you played God Of War 2? Do you know there is a certain boss battle where Kratos fights a guy that can hagve invisibility by putting a helmet on his head???

I love God of War, but Kratos is homo.

I guess that more than trying to defeat Link, he would try really hard to kiss his sword.

yeah, you probably never played god of war game in your life

Um.... It depends on which Link. Link from the 2-D Zelda games? Hell no. Link from Wind Waker, about 50/50. Link from Twilight Princess and Link from OoT? He would wreck Kratos's shit.

As for the "Kratos has killed gods" theroy, he has killed Greek gods. We must take into account the fact thta Greek Gods can be killed, whereas other deities are different. No one can kill the Christian God, as their religion says so. We must assume that, since this is a crossover, the rules from both universes apply. Link could also kill the Greek gods (in theroy) because their laws allow it to be so. The gods of Hyrule, however, cannot be killed. Therefore, Kratos couldn't kill a Hylian god.

We also seem to be forgetting that, if Link had access to the Triforce, he would be granted any wish he wanted. This includes Kratos's death.

We must also consider the fact that Link was chosen specifically by the Gods. He is the "Chosen One", if you will.

Also, the reappearing of him in every Zelda game is proof that, if killed, he would simply reincarnate in 100 years or so.

If we are using this crossover rule, Kratos could use the Triforce too if he could get his hands on it!

"We must also consider the fact that Link was chosen specifically by the Gods. He is the "Chosen One", if you will." what difference does that make? Jesus was the "Chosen one" and he ended up dead too!

"Also, the reappearing of him in every Zelda game is proof that, if killed, he would simply reincarnate in 100 years or so." Kratos is immortal too, he can just climb back out of the underworld!

"we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender"

I'm supporting link!

And that is still no where as powerful as Kratos...

Its obvious how the people arguing Link never really played the GoW games. Hell, smoothcriminal lost all cred when he admited he hasnt beat the second game yet. He wants to whine over the greek mythology portrayal... here watch this "Wah wah wah Nintendo butchered the medieval portrayal. There was no fairy boy who reincarnated every so often. There was no mythical triforce. There was no gauntlets that give you extra strength" MY FUCKING GOD ITS A GAME! They aren't making it to retell the god damn lifes of the greek gods as it blatantly obvious that there never was a kratos. Get over it man and accept Link has no chance.

I went over this earlier: this isn't true. Link can hit enemies while standing inside of other enemies, or even walls. When he's wearing the Magic Cape, Link can hurt others but cannot be touched, period. The fight's over.

If he can make contact with kratos. Then kratos can use that to use that contact to his advantage. It's simple logic. The fight's over yes. But not with the result you've been hungering for throughout the thread.

It would be logical, but it's just not true. The Magic Cape is a cheaply powerful item that there's no way around until Link runs out of magic. Link cannot be touched, period, whil he's wearing it, even when he hits Kratos - and Kratos can't actually grab enemies while he's being hit, and hee can't counter a move he can't see coming, and even if he could it wouldn't matter becuse Link can't be hit.

THe Magic Cape has broken this fight.

If you want to come up with another scenario for the fight where Link doesn't have both Chateau Romani and the Magic Cape, that's fine, I'll argue there too, but the argument of Combined Link vs. Kratos was over as soon as it started.

Kratos is faster in sheer speed and more agile than link. Link would have a hard time beating Kratos since Kratos would just dodge for three days then link reappears. Kratos would use a certain item that projects light to be able to see links shadow.
