The Wii is at 69.56 million. It took the Wii 40 months to get to that number. The PS2 is at around 140 million and that took 10 years to get to. What year do you think the Wii will outsell PS2?

Depends how the long the wii stays in production really. Could be in 3-4 years though.

2010 and 2011 are impossible targets except in the minds of John Lucas and Avinashi Tyagi.
2012 is a long shot
2013 is possible, my bet goes to 2014.... I wouldn't have voted 2015 but there should have been an option for it.

Probably around 2014, if it continues to sell around 20M each year.

I'm not entirely sure that it will outsell the PS2. I understand that its pace is faster than the PS2 at this point, but I think that with the 360 and PS3 having already sold better than Xbox and GC that perhaps the Wii won't top the 140 million range...

I suspect the Wii will be withdrawn from market once the next generation console is released. Theres no point in selling it in the western world alongside the next generation Wii. However it may have a long life in third world countries with a bunch of pre-bundled titles.

Mind that I'm useing the mininum of what the wii has to sell. So basicly
it would take a some outside magic to prevent it. And heck I stopped at 2013 which
will be one year after Wii 2 is released.  I think the wii will end at 150 million to 170 million when its all said and done
