Its not even close... even in the examples you list it doesnt compare.

1 year head start?

Are you forgeting about the dreamcast? Even then this has no comparable value.

Failure rate? Though the ps2's failure rate was suppose to be high I doubt it was anywhere near 360's. MS put a billion dollars aside for this problem.

Sony gained their exclusives because it wasn't really viable for any other plat form. MS funds the projects. Even then the amount of 3rd party exclusives are no where near comparable.

I know this is a minority opinion, but the xbox was actually my favorite console last gen. With that said, I don't think the xbox 360 lives up to my very high opinion of it's predecessor.

IMO, the ps3 is like the xbox of last gen. It has the best software.

So yeah... I guess the 360 is like the ps2, I don't really care for it.

Failure rate???? 360 has the highest failure rate of any console ever made!!!! At one time it was 54%. that means if I went to the store and got one it would work or wouldnt, thats crap people pure and simple. the PS2 wasnt even close to that. I think 30%

No....PlayStation 3 has is the closest to the PlayStation 2 this gen.

That's why it's called PLAYSTATION 3.

Xbox 360 has a lot more in common with Xbox.

He should take out The Show and GoW collections. Even if the 360 has more it would be a negligable difference thus not even being comparable to the ps2. This is a desperation thread grasping at straws.
